Sabine Merker

Sabine brings more than 17 years of deep communications expertise across various sectors, from education to tourism, directly into her workshops. For six years, she shaped public relations and corporate communications at the Berufsgenossenschaft Brandenburg (Germany), where she specialized in occupational health management and safety regulations.

As a Master of Science in Communication and a certified mediator, Sabine is an expert in conflict resolution and Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication. Combined with her official ADA trainer certification from the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), she has designed and led numerous high-impact training sessions for both private and public organizations. At merker solutions, Sabine focuses on building a sustainable culture of prevention, empowering trainers and teams with the vital communication tools needed for today’s changing world of work.

Ralf Merker

Ralf brings more than 20 years of profound experience from the German public sector directly into his training sessions. Throughout his entire two-decade career in government administration, he worked hands-on as a System Administrator and Senior Database Administrator—while simultaneously stepping into leadership as a deputy IT director for over five years.

During this time, he was responsible for several mission-critical database systems and developed more than 40 Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications. A major milestone of his technical career was his nomination for the German Green IT Award for a €1.5m data center project.

Today, Ralf has turned this extensive technical and leadership mastery into pedagogical impact. As a passionate trainer, mentor, and instructor, he bridges the gap between complex infrastructure and human potential. Whether supervising students through their bachelor’s and master’s theses or leading face-to-face and online corporate training, Ralf doesn’t just pass on knowledge—he empowers future educators and professionals to thrive.
